27 Weeks!!

This is 27 weeks and 4 days. I am almost to the 3rd trimester!! Hooray!! It has gone way fast. 3 more months to go. I can't imagine growing for that much longer, I am gonna be huge! So far everything has been great. I feel fine except for occasional sciatic aches and back aches. I am still working 12 hour shifts and doing fine. You can finally see my belly through the scrubs. They are not fitting me anymore but I am putting off buying new ones. Its also getting hotter which is not good. Today I thought I was going to die, I think it hit 100. We went to babysrus and started registering, Greg had a blast!! ha ha I picked out my bedding and I am way excited because it matches my walls perfectly. Other than that nothing much is going on. We get to go to Logan this week for our friend Chad's wedding!! I have not been to Logan for like 4 years, I am way excited to see it and good friends. It will be short and sweet. I am getting jealous of everybody who has had their babies already. I can't wait.

Yes Greg I Do Love You!!

Greg keeps saying that all of his friends wives love their husbands because they do a post about them and I have been tagged like 3 times and haven't done it yet. So to prove my love to Greg, ha ha I will finally do this tag thing.

1. What is YOurWhat is your husband's name? Gregory Maxwell Church

2.Who eats more? Hmmm It kind of depends but usually Greg. Right now it might be me. Greg never eats breakfast though.

3. Who said I love you first? Greg did then finally one night I ran up to his room and told him and then left. I am kind of retarded.

4. Who is taller? Definitely Greg by at least 5-6 inches

5. Who is smarter? It depends on the subject but I think Greg wins overall. He is much smarter in history and politics and stuff like that but I win hands down in science stuff.

6. Who is more sensitive? I feel the same way as Whitney about this one. I am hands down more sensitive. Greg never gets emotional. I have a feeling when this little girl comes I may see a more sensitive side of him come out.

7. Who does the laundry? ha ha. Totally me. I think Greg has forgotton how to do laundry.

8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do in every bed we sleep in.

9. Who pays the bills? I actually pay most of the bills. Most of them are online and automatic its very nice. My dad got me microsoft money so its way easy.

10. Who cooks more? Totally me. I don't think Greg ever cooks unless I am at work and he heats something up in the microwave or oven. I lied, he does most of the grilling outside and is very good at it. But in the kitchen he does not cook.

11. What meals do you cook together? Only meals that require a bbq. Greg cooks the meat and I cook the side dishes.

12. Who is more stubborn? ha ha totally Greg. He is very stubborn. If he doesn't want to do something, he is not gonna do it. I think our daughter might just be stubborn too.

13. Who is the first to admit it when they are wrong? I would have to say me. I think Greg has a hard time admitting he is wrong.

14. Who is more clean? I would say we are equal on that in different ways. Greg would probably say that he is more clean. He never hangs up his shirts but my car is a disaster. (he gives me crap all the time for that one). Sometimes I leave things out. He doesn't always do his dishes either. We are definietly equal.

15. Who has more siblings? Greg...he has 3 sisters and one brother with 7 neices and nephews. I only have one brother.

16. Who wears the pants in the relationship? I think we are equal

17. What do you like to do together? We like to go to movies or watch them at home and go out to dinner. We also like to walk our dog. When we get the oppurtunity we like to travel.

18. Who eats more sweets? I think Greg wins on that one. He is a big dessert guy.

19. Guilty pleasures? I would have to say ice cream for greg and maybe in and out burger.

20. How did you meet? We met in college at Utah State. We first met at a FHE activity at first dam but then he dated my roommate.

21. Who asked who out first? We kind of started with just hanging out alot since we lived so close so I don't really know who officially asked who out.

22. Who kissed who first? Greg invited me over and pulled the move.

23. Who proposed? Greg did at the beach lookout in LA. He started with a fake ugly ring then pulled out the real one.

24. Best features? I would have to say his eyes and smile. He has pretty blue eyes and a great smile.

25. What is his best quality? Greg has a great sense of humor and is always joking arond and having fun.

New York City

New York was the second half of our vacation. We took the train from DC which was cool because I have never been on a train. My grandparents were nice enough to give us their Marriott points and we stayed in the Marriott Marquee in Times Square. It was sooo nice!! The location was perfect too. We saw all the typical sites and went on a bus tour. We also saw Lion King on Broadway. It was amazing!! Overall we had a wonderful trip that we will never forget. THe picture to the right is ground zero. This is where the towers would have stood. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have more to see down there like a plaque or something. There are fences everywhere too so you can't see anything.

To the right is the empire State Building and to the left is Times square.

The STatue of Liberty. We just looked from afar because the line was to long for the ferry around Ellis Island.

Washington DC

This past week Greg and I took a trip (a babymoon) to Washington DC and New York City. Greg has never been (and we all know he is a history buff) and I went a long time ago. We had an awesome time. We started out in DC for 3 days and then New York for 3 days (ny pics will be below). In DC we saw all the typical sites: Washington MOnument, Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials, WWII memorial, Vietnam, Korean, White House, Capitol, Smithsonian, Holocaust Museum, National ARchives Museum, etc, etc. It is always really cool to see our nations capitol and to see how the country was founded. All the walking was a little hard on me in my pregnant state but I suffered through it and had a good time. We have never gone on a trip with just the 2 of us besides our honeymoon so it was great. We got to spend time with my old roommate Erika who lives our there. SHe showed us around a bit.

This is the washington Monument at night. IT is so cool with all the lights. Here is Iwo Jima Memorial. It is soo b big and powerful.

Greg is really into taking pics so we have alot

with just scenery and no people.

Jefferson Memorial The White House

It was the Cherry Blossom season in DC. They are so amazing and are everywhere!! They have a big festival all around the area with food, music, etc. The flowers don't really smell but they are beautiful. Above is a picture of the cherry blossom trees lining the Potomoc River.

22 Weeks

So here am at 22 weeks pregnant. I feel much bigger than this picture shows, ha ha. Its definitely popping out. Last week at work, the ultrasound tech scanned me. She said she was totally sure it was a girl!! She said she would look again later but she was sure. So, Its a girl!! ha ha. It was so fun to have another US. Hers was much better than the other one because she was looking for fun. The baby was opening her mouth alot and moving all around. IT was so cool!! I hope she does it again. For now I guess we can start buying pink stuff. My aunt has already sent 7 bags of clothes to my moms house!! They range from newborn to like 2 years so that is good.

Its a Girl.......Maybe!!

We finally got an ultrasound!! It was so great and amazing. It made it all real. So, the umbilical chord was inbetween her legs and her legs were close together. The tech said she was like 90% sure it was a girl but she wouldn't document it. She said to not go buy anything pink yet!! I was so mad. She was being stubborn and wouldn't move (like her dad). I am calling her a she anyways. So, we don't really know for sure yet. WE will see. Her head was also way far down by the cervix so the tech couldn't get 2 of the measurements or views that she wanted so she is leaving it up to the doctor to decided if another us is necessary. She kept pushing on her an everything but she just wouldn't move. She moved her arms stuff at first and I could feel it against the probe it was so cool!! I hope these pics work. I can't really tell what they are of. I just know its the face and rest is to confusing. ha ha OTher than she said everything looked ok.

17 weeks

Okay, so this pic is for Julie upon request. There is not much there to show yet. Just a small little bump. My boobs kind of over power my stomach, ha ha. I don't normally look this bad either. Its slowy creeping out. My pants are definitely not fitting very well anymore. Its all about the low rise. I still haven't felt it move yet. I really want to. We get to find out the sex on March 26. I wish I was in Italy so I could have an ultrasound every month!!! They are so stingy here. I do have my own doppler so I can hear the heartbeat whenever I want.

Everything is going well so far. I am feeling much better except for occasional aches and pains, especially at work. We are getting excited to find out. I refuse to buy anything untill I know what it is and get to see it.

Kauai

We just got back from kauai with my family. We had a really great time. It is our second time going there because they have a time share. The weather was kind of crappy but it was still fun. It would rain for 20 min then be sunny for 20 min etc etc. So I didn't get to good of a tan. oh well. It is beautiful there. Unfortunately we took more pics of scenery than of people because we all have nice cameras and are obsessed with good shots. oh well.
The highlight of our trip for me was hiking along the Napali coast. this is the part of the island that you can't drive around. The cliffs are steep and jagged. The views are amazing!!! You have to drive forever to get there but it is pretty. You hike right along the edge of the cliff and you can see the ocean below you. Because it had been raining the trail was very muddy and slippery which made it even more fun.. THe pic above shows the mud. At first we were careful and by the end we didn't care. We had mud caked up to our knees by the end. It was pretty fun.

The is the view from the first part of the hike of the coast where you start. Its amazing too.

The hike is actually like 12 miles if you want to do the whole thing but most people hike to a beach which is what we did and its only 2 miles one way. Right before the beach we came to this river that my mom explained as a "trickle of water" into the ocean. ha ah. It was up to my thighs. So much for our shoes. It was a strong current too. THank goodnes for my walking stick.

THis is our destination, the beach. It was nice but they warn you to stay away from the water because of the currents. It was beautiful.

This is the view down the Naplai coast from the trail. When you first see this it is breathtaking!!

THis is the whale right in front of your hotel that we caught jumping out of the water.

This is the "grand Canyon of Hawaii" or waimea canyon. It is amazing too!!

The coast by our hotel.. Greg is obsessed with the waves crashing so we have millions of pics of this.

My mom and I got "laid" ha ha. I love these they smell soooo good. This is our balcony to our room.

Happy Birthday Jack!!

I know I am a total nerd but for now I don't have kids to talk about so I have to talk about my other baby Jack. He had a birthday on Sunday. He is all grown up. He turned 2. I remember when we could hold him like a baby. This is our family photo, ha ha. THis was a long time ago. He looked like a little bear. He was so clumsy.
He was soooo little!!

Now he is 102 pounds. The only thing I can hold is his head. He thinks he is a lap dog though.

He loves to sun bathe in the grass. Don't worry it is all dead. That Las Vegas for ya. ha ha

A Fun Day

This is Jack reaching for the ball. He wouldn't go any further.

Here is Sherman getting ready to go for a swim to get the ball.

He loved the sand.

This past weekend Greg went to California for something so I decided to go to St George. My mom had to go to Lake Powell to go get our waverunners from the repair shop so I decided to accompany her. So, me, Chas, my mom, and the 2 dogs headed to Powell. It ended up being a really fun day. We didn't stay long but its all good. We went to Lake Powell beach which is before Wahweap by Lone Rock. We had lunch and let the dogs play in the water. We have always wanted to take them to Powell to see how they like it. Jack was kind of a whimp but Sherman swam out and got the balls that Jack wouldn't go get They had a blast!! The water was freezing and the air was not hot but not cold. We didn't go swimming obviously. It was nice because the water was glass and it was very quiet which isn't usually the case. I will always love Lake Powell even for just a couple of hours.

Okay, here are more pics. They dicided to work this time. While in Pheonix we went to visit Greg's grandma which was nice. We also went to the ARizona Diamondbacks stadium and ate lunch at TGI Fridays. It is in the stadium!! It was so cool!! The tables are right in with the bleachers. Then we were trying to find things to do so we went to the Science institute and went to the IMAX. THat is what the funny 3D glasses are from. All in all it was a fun trip. We loved hanging out with friends we haven't seen forever!!

Pheonix

We went to PHeonix for 2 days to our friend Jimi's wedding. He was married in the Mesa Temple. It was very nice. The temple is way different than any other temple I have seen. It blends in well to its surrounding though. We also got to see some other USU friends which was great. We miss all of them so much.

My pictures won't load anymore so I will post later with more. We also got to hang out with JOhn and Hailey for a day and we did some fun things. I will post more abou that later when the pics will work.
