Fun Stuff

We have had a fun past week. First, Jake, Whitney, and Luke Hawkins came into town!! We have never met Luke so it was fun to see him. We went swimming at the Hilton with the babies and they loved it!! I hope they get to play again soon. It was so fun to see you guys!! This past weekend we went to St George for some more swimming! It was sooo warm. Abby got a new floaty that she can be in by herself and she loved it! We took these pics below on my parents putting green. I guess she is going to follow in the families footsteps and be a golfer! Abby decided to finally crawl like a big girl on all fours and she mastered the stairs at my parents house!! I think we will have a walker soon.

9 Months!!

Abby is 9 months!! I can't belive it. We went to the doctor today and she has dropped a bit in her percentiles. She weighs 16 lbs 4 oz (9th percentile) and 26 inches (14 percentile). She is just going to be little I guess. I was the same way as a baby. She is all over the place, she cruises around the furniture and stands up to anything and everything she can. Yesterday I let her play with our laundry basket, she was just standing up to it so I went in the other room. WHen I came back she was in the basket!! I have no clue how she got in here. On another note, Greg and I had our 5th anniversery today! I can't believe its been that long already. Its been a great 5 years!!

Swimming

We went swimming at my moms house in St George 2 weekends ago. Abby loved the water!!

Jack was to afraid to jump in the water.

Easter

Easter was a good day but very low key. We had Greg's niece, Jessica here which was fun,. We just went to church, and there was a beautiful music program to remind us what easter is really about. We had a nice dinner and ended the day with a walk in the desert. I didn't have to get Abby a new dress because she has so many in her closet that she has never worn, so I just pulled one of them out. I love this one, thanks Stacey!! We didn't do any easter baskets or anything, but thanks to my mom we got an Easter package on Monday!!

8 Months!!

Abby is 8 months I can't belive it!! She is growing so fast. She is exploring all over the place and I can't keep up. she gets into everything!! She is getting 2 teeth now at the same time. She is starting to stand up to things by herself. Its crazy how much they change. We are loving every minute.

This is what I woke up to this morning. I guess we need to lower the crib now. She was so excited that she stood up.

Snow Canyon

We went to St George this past weekend and decided to take a trip up to snow Canyon. It is so pretty up there. We didn't really hike because it was cold so we just drove around and explored a bit. My aunt gave us this pack a while ago but it has been at my moms. I love it!! I can't belive we have waited so long to use it. Abby liked it too.

don't worry, jack got this cactus in his foot and his lip. And I got it in my finger trying to get it out of him. They hurt sooo bad.

Swings

Abby went on the swings for the first time and really liked it. She loved to kick her legs back and forth. I guess we will have to make more trips to the park. It was very cold and windy outside though.

Crafts

So I have decided to get in touch with the small craft side that I have. ha ha. I made some of those "baby legs" things out of womens socks. That was pretty fun. they are way cute. When I got the sewing machine out Greg was like "you don't do this kind of stuff" . Little does he know I have taken many sewing lessons. I am also attempting to make an "ABC" quiet book for Abby. My mom is also helping me. Here is the one and only page I have finished. Other than that things are the same old here. Abby is all over the place, crawling like a maniac. She actually army crawls but she goes pretty fast. She gets on all fours and then goes down. She is finally getting her first tooth!! I can feel it today. Hooray!! She is growing sooo fast.

She loves her cookies and crackers but they are soo messy!

Jack has figured out that Abby has food when she is in this chair and Abby has figured out that she can feed Jack. He has taken Crackers right our of her hand and she thinks it is so funny.

Another Video

Here is another funny video that we just took. Greg was saying BINGO along with a commercial and Abby thought it was the funniest thing ever so Greg kept saying "bingo" and she just kept laughing. She is so funny!!

Can anyone tell me how to make your blog title bigger and cuter! I see all these others that have cute fonts and pics and I don't know how. Help please!! i tried to put a photo and it came out gigantic.

7 Months!!

Wow, Abby is growing and growing. She is now creeping all over the floor!! i guess you could call it an army crawl. We are gonna have to start doing some baby proofing. She really likes to get Jacks bones!! She is doing way good iwth her baby food, no throwing up at all!! She also loves puffs!! She is still figuring out how to get them in her mouth. Greg and I are loving this stage of life!! She is still very petite. She still wears some 3 month onsies, I am getting good use of her clothes.This is her new favorite place to play, in the bathroom sink in front of the mirror. She loves to grab everything that is on the counter. She loves to sit by the window and look outside. This was an hour after she went to bed. I don't how she ends up like this. I guess the swing is more exciting when you are underneath it!!

She loves to creep over to Jack and touch his paws.

Hooray, she figured out the sippy cup!! Sometimes it becomes more of a toy than a cup though.
