Lake Powell

We had so much fun at Lake Powell but it went way too fast. Abby did way good, she loved the water but hated her life jacket!! Greg's niece and her husband came with us which made the trip even better. We found 2 really cool hikes that led to slot canyons, they were amazing! I love this place and can't wait to go back next year!! We went to California the next day after we got back, pictures to come later.

Its been a while!

Its been a while since I posted. Abby is almost one, I can't belive it!!! She is growing too fast! She has taken about 5 steps on her own. If she just got some guts she could totally walk. She stands forever by herself. She is so much fun!! She is finally getting more teeth too, it only took like 4 months! There are some videos posted below.

We went ot St George 2 weekends ago and went swimming as always, she just loves the water. SHe jumps (well trys) off the side to us and has no fear. I also got to go 4-wheeling w hile we were there. It was pretty fun and scary. We went to a cool lookout. Other than that we are doing the same old stuff, me working and GReg going to school. We are going to Lake Powell in 2 weeks, I can't wait!! It will definitely be different now that we have a baby. Hopefully she will like it though. She thinks its so funny when we put her sunglasses on. She usually takes them right off.

Fun Stuff

We have had a fun past week. First, Jake, Whitney, and Luke Hawkins came into town!! We have never met Luke so it was fun to see him. We went swimming at the Hilton with the babies and they loved it!! I hope they get to play again soon. It was so fun to see you guys!! This past weekend we went to St George for some more swimming! It was sooo warm. Abby got a new floaty that she can be in by herself and she loved it! We took these pics below on my parents putting green. I guess she is going to follow in the families footsteps and be a golfer! Abby decided to finally crawl like a big girl on all fours and she mastered the stairs at my parents house!! I think we will have a walker soon.

9 Months!!

Abby is 9 months!! I can't belive it. We went to the doctor today and she has dropped a bit in her percentiles. She weighs 16 lbs 4 oz (9th percentile) and 26 inches (14 percentile). She is just going to be little I guess. I was the same way as a baby. She is all over the place, she cruises around the furniture and stands up to anything and everything she can. Yesterday I let her play with our laundry basket, she was just standing up to it so I went in the other room. WHen I came back she was in the basket!! I have no clue how she got in here. On another note, Greg and I had our 5th anniversery today! I can't believe its been that long already. Its been a great 5 years!!

Swimming

We went swimming at my moms house in St George 2 weekends ago. Abby loved the water!!

Easter

Easter was a good day but very low key. We had Greg's niece, Jessica here which was fun,. We just went to church, and there was a beautiful music program to remind us what easter is really about. We had a nice dinner and ended the day with a walk in the desert. I didn't have to get Abby a new dress because she has so many in her closet that she has never worn, so I just pulled one of them out. I love this one, thanks Stacey!! We didn't do any easter baskets or anything, but thanks to my mom we got an Easter package on Monday!!
