St George

I had four days off work so we decided to take a little trip to St George. We got to put Abby in the pool!! She actually liked it alot untill she got out. The air wasn't quite warm enough but the pool was. I can't wait for summer when she is even older and can really enjoy it. We had a good time. Greg and I were able to go out to a movie and dinner while my parents watched Abby. Jack had a great time too!! He wouldn't get in the pool though because he is too scared.

Three Months!!

Abby is 3 months now!! She is growing and doing new things every day. We are loving every minute. I went back to work last week and it was hard but I got through it and I think I will survive. Dad got to watch Abby on Saturday for 13 hours!! I bet no other dad has ever done that. He got a little frustrated and called me a dozen times but he did a great job. She is doing well at the babysitters too. Greg takes her and picks her up. I think we are starting to get the hang of it. Jack gets really excited when Abby comes home from the babysitters. Our friends from Michigan, Brent and Stacey came to visit and this is their son Logan. A bit of size difference between the two. He is 8 months old. We hope they come back soon.

Abby decided the other day that she was going to hold herself up like this. She has never been able to get her head this high before. I think rolling is the next step. She enjoys tummy time more when her face isn't smashed into the ground.

Also one day she decided to start grabbing her toys while laying under her play gym thing. It is amazing how they just do stuff all of a sudden.

This is her Halloween costume that she absolutely hated!! She was supposed to be a chicken, it didn't last long.

Scrapbooking

My new favorite thing is doing my scrapbook on the computer. It is so much easier and you never run out of paper or die cuts or anything. And since all of my pics are on the computer it is even better. I have not printed any of the pages out yet so we will see if I change my mind after I do. I was going to post some of my pages but the format is wrong and it will not upload. I am very behind and just fininshed our honeymoon that was 4 years ago.

Question

Can somebody tell me where to go to get cool backgrounds for my blog. Everybody else has really cute ones and I have no clue how to get one. Thanks

She definitely has a talent for picture taking. These are only some of them. I would post all of them if I could. They are better than my proffessional ones. We just love our little Abby Jane.

Growing Up

We went to the doctor yesterday and Abby weighs 10 lbs 3.5 oz, hooray!! ha ha She also had to get her shots. She did fine untill the Tylenol wore off and she cried for over an hour. It was so sad!! Here are some pics of Jack hanging out with Abby and us playing out on the grass. Abby loves to go outside. I am just enjoying this time untill I get to go back to work in a couple of weeks!! I will only be working 2 days a week so its not so bad. It will be nice to get out for a day, haha

Blessing

Abby got blessed last Sunday. Greg did a wonderful job. Both of our parents were able to come and be there for it and after we had a nice dinner. I am probably a bad mom because I didn't get her a new white dress but I couldn't really find any down here so she wore a cute pink one instead. I feel so blessed to have a wonderful husband who honors his preisthood and was able to bless our daughter.

Mt Charleston

Yesterday we took a little trip up to Mt Charleston. It was so nice up there. THe weather was perfect at about 74 degrees and Las Vegas was 95 degrees. It is very weird because you are driving in the desert and all of a sudden you are in the mountains. We went on a little hike and ate lunch. Jack had a really good time!! There was a group of about 6 kids that all gathered around him and he was such a good boy and let them all pet him!! It was a nice getawaay from the city.

I swear all I ever post now is pics of Abby but I really have nothing else to talk about. Everything is going well. Abby is growing every day and starting to smile alot. I am still tired all the time but its all good. This past weekend I went to St George and to a cabin that is past Zion National park. My fam and aunts family and my grandpa went. It was fun to get together with them because we don't do it very often. While in SG we went and had Abby's pics taken. They turned out very cute. It is very difficult to get newborns to cooperate, ha ha. These are just the basic pics not the edited and cropped ones but they are still good.

1 Month

Abby is doing well. We are loving every minute of her. She went to the doctor yesterday and she weighs 8 lbs 6 oz and is 20 3/4 inches!!!! She is finally the size of a normal newborn! The doctor was very amazed that she almost gained 3 pounds. She is a really good baby too. I am still getting used to everything but am starting to get the hang of it.

3 Weeks Old

I keep getting requests for more pictures from grandma and from friends. So here they are. She just keeps getting bigger and bigger. We are starting to get used to things and loving every minute. (even getting up every 3 hours).
